Who We Are

Our Story

The Land Network National Engagement Strategy (LandNNES) in South Africa operates as a consultative civil society platform for convening members with a common perspective as a force for people-centred land governance.

Why LandNNES

Through LandNNES, civil society effectively engages public and private members in a national multi-stakeholder land governance platform. This platform provides a constructive space for action, coordinating diverse perspectives, and accelerating efficiency and efficacy for action.

Aim

To identify and act upon land governance-related challenges facing South Africa

LANDNNES assesses the adequacy of the existing land governance framework, formulating and advocating for appropriate land governance reforms.

Mission

To promote a people-centred land governance at country level

Policy change and implementation are promoted and supported with specific policy objectives determined and prioritised by ILC members and other stakeholders supporting LANDNNES.
